Butterfly on Branch

This is the Blue Morpho Butterfly – the bright blue colors that give this butterfly its name, appear on the outer surface of both wings.  The blue is remarkably bold and vivid.  The underside of their wings, shown here, are lovely as well.  There are light yellow and orange colors that line the outer edges and the inner patterns of circles on both wings.

I like how the tree is peeling…. I can’t recall the type of tree pictured here…. My memory for such things gets fuzzier the closer it gets to bedtime!
